Rev Greg Burke Senior Minister
Greg was appointed as Senior Minister in 2003. After studying at Moore College, he held ministry positions at St. Paul’s Chatswood, The Round Church Cambridge, St Mark’s Chapel on the University of New England Campus and St Peter’s East Lindfield. He qualified as a Civil Engineer and worked on several major freeway construction projects in Sydney. Greg enjoys the challenge of helping people to interact with Jesus as he is revealed in the biographies of the New Testament. He lectures in Ethics, World Religions and Theology courses at the School of Christian Studies (SOCS), Macquarie University and the Wesley Institute. He is married to Pat, and they have three adult children. When not working Greg enjoys tennis, playing in a rock band with some mates and good coffee.
Rev Janine Steele Associate Minister
Janine joined St Anne’s staff in July 2014. She previously ministered at Anglican Retirement Villages, and before that as a chaplain in public hospitals, as well as parish and student ministry. Before entering full time ministry Janine worked as a health educator in western Sydney. Janine has special interests in pastoral care, preaching and training. She loves to sing, travel, look at art, and eat out.
Rev Kau Lee Assistant Minister
Kau joined the staff at St Annes in early 2014 with responsibility for international ministry especially to Chinese speakers. Kau was previously at Wesley Mission for 12 years (2002—2014) as a full-time Chinese Minister. He is now living at Ryde. Kau enjoys helping all nations, particularly Chinese, to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is married to Christina and they have 3 children. He likes table tennis, swimming and travelling. He also enjoys teaching theology.
Wayne Mayhew Youth and Children's Minister
Wayne began as a Youth and Children’s Minister in December 2012. He is married to Helen, and they have two young children. Before studying at Sydney Missionary and Bible College, Wayne worked as a Primary School Teacher at Wollondilly Anglican College. He grew up in Tahmoor and studied teaching at the University of Wollongong. Wayne enjoys teaching young people about Jesus, hiking, playing tennis, catching up with friends and is a chocoholic!
Bronwyn Young Office Manager
Bronwyn works in the office on Mondays and Thursdays dealing with a variety of tasks including finance, in house design for the website, brochures and flyers and the day to day minutiae of parish life.
Sharon Badman Wedding Secretary
Sharon works in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She deals with bookings for hire of St Anne's facilities and looks after all wedding arrangements, liaising between the ministers and wedding couples.
